Main Duties
• Learn and prepare the restaurant’s current menu
• Able to prepare daily menu with selection of various dishes while considering factor such as costs, inventory, supplies and special events.
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Must be able to prepare and cook complete meals.
• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant.
• Responsible for keeping the kitchen clean.
• Maintaining high level of hygiene, organization and Sanitation of food products.
• May hire and train kitchen staff.
Requirements
• High School
• 1-2 years of Experience is an asset or completion of program in cooking
• Ability to communicate in English
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work evenings and weekends
Benefits
• $15 hourly for 35 hours a week
• Overtime over 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week
• 2 weeks paid vacation
• Permanent- full time position
